What is the purpose of the Bible?
Why do you think God gives us the Bible?
Bible is the promise that God made to His people. The prophecy of the Bible is given so that we can believe when it happens. Until the prophecy is fulfilled, no one can understand the true meaning of the prophecy. However, according to the Rv. 22:18~19, it is very important that we know the fulfillment of Revelation so that we do not add or subtract from the book of Revelation. Then how can we know the fulfillment of the Revelation?
At the Shincheonji Grand Bible Seminar in Seoul, Chairman Lee emphasized the importance of knowing the fulfillment of the prophecy. He stated that he did not learn or know about the Bible but only testifies to what he has seen and heard. He asked the attendees to listen to his testimony which is about the fullfillment of the prophecy.
According to the Book of Revelation, 2nd coming of Jesus started with the seven stars. However, a synagogue of Satan invaded the seven churches (Rv. Chapter 2~3). That is when Jesus chose a John-like person to write a letter to seven stars “what you have seen, what is now and what will take place later.” (Rv. 1:9~20)
Seven stars did not repent even after receiving the letter from Jesus (Rv. Chapter 2~3). That is why Jesus bring the witness to heaven to show what will take place afterward in Rv. Chapter 4. In God’s Hand, there was a book with seven seals and Jesus took this book (Rv. 5) and opened seven seals in Rv. Chapters 6 and 8. And a mighty angel who came down from heaven gave the little scroll which is fully open to the witness, told him to take it, eat it, and prophesy again about many peoples, nations, languages, and kings in Rv. Chapter 10. So where is this little scroll? It is in the stomach of the witness who took the little scroll and ate it. The person whom Jesus chose in Rv. Chapter 1 is the witness who saw and heard the fulfillment of the Revelation and also ate the little scroll. That is why this witness can testify the fulfillment of the Revelation.
With his testimony, Chairman Lee claimed that “if I ask you ‘do you add or subtract anything from the Revelation?’ you may ask me back ‘How about you?’ and yes I do know the Revelation and that is what I want to tell you about. Today, I am here not to talk about the prophecy but about the fulfillment.”
He continued by pointing out “Who should the churches wait for? According to Rv. 22:8, John is the person who heard and saw everything. And Rv. 22:16 says that this person is the one who is sent to the churches to testify what he heard and saw.”
He raised his voice by saying that “We must follow the word of God. Shouldn’t we obey Jesus? Let’s give all the glory and thanks to God by becoming the people of God in the Kingdom of heaven.”
About 500 pastors attended this seminar and reacted very positively.
