Living in the Fulfillment of Revelation: Reflections from the 2025 Shincheonji Gwangju Grand Bible Seminar
On January 8th, a remarkable event took place at Shincheonji Church of Jesus in Gwangju. Under the theme “Testimony on the Fulfillment of Revelation,” Chairman Lee Man-Hee delivered the year’s first major seminar to a packed audience. Despite freezing weather and heavy snow, over 30,000 attendees—both in-person and online—gathered to listen, including 200 local pastors, 331 international pastors, journalists, and believers from the Peter Tribe.
The seminar was more than just a lecture. It
was a moment to reflect on faith, the Bible’s promises, and what it means to
live in an era where Revelation is being fulfilled.
The Importance of Revelation Today
Chairman Lee highlighted how crucial it is to
understand Revelation, especially in today’s context. He reminded everyone that
Revelation is not just a book of prophecies but one of fulfillment—a guide to
recognizing God’s work in action.
“We must ask ourselves: Am I living as the
Bible teaches? Have I been recreated according to the promises of God in
Revelation?” Chairman Lee posed these questions to the audience, urging
self-reflection.
He emphasized the warning in Revelation
22:18-19, which forbids adding or subtracting from its words. “The Word must be
understood and kept exactly as it is,” he said. “Without this, we cannot
inherit the kingdom of heaven.”
Stories of Renewal and Commitment
The seminar left a deep impression on those
who attended.
Pastor Kim, a Presbyterian leader, shared his
experience: “Hearing about the fulfillment of Revelation in this era made me
realize how alive the Bible truly is. I’m inspired to become a priest of the
gospel who spreads this truth.”
For Brother Oh, a member of the Peter Tribe,
the seminar was a wake-up call. “Chairman Lee’s passion and dedication made
me reflect on my own faith. I’ve decided to live a more active and mature faith
life this year,” he said.
Even younger attendees felt inspired to make
changes. One youth member admitted, “I’ve been stuck in old habits, but this
seminar reminded me to renew my faith. I want to share God’s love and blessings
more actively this year.”
A Vision for the Church and Community
Beyond individual transformations, the
seminar highlighted Shincheonji Church’s broader mission. Peter Tribe leader
Yoo Jae-Wook expressed the church’s commitment to being a light in the
community. “We are not only dedicated to spreading God’s Word but also to
being a church that serves as salt and light in society,” he said.
Looking Ahead
This seminar was a powerful reminder of God’s
active work in fulfilling His promises. It encouraged believers to reflect on
their own spiritual journeys and take steps toward living according to the
truth of the Bible.
As we move forward, let’s ask ourselves: Are
we truly living by God’s Word? Are we prepared to share this truth with others?
The fulfillment of Revelation is not just a
distant hope—it’s happening now. Let’s embrace it and live as faithful
witnesses to God’s promises.
