Reflections on the Passover Service: Shincheonji’s Vision for the Year of Love and Blessing

A Momentous Gathering at the Passover Service and General Assembly

On January 15, Shincheonji Church of Jesus hosted its annual Passover Service and 41st General Assembly at the Cheongju Church, marking a significant occasion to reflect on the past year’s accomplishments and set new goals for the future. This event brought together church leaders, including the 12 tribe heads, pastors, and other key representatives, to discuss the direction of evangelism and spiritual growth on both domestic and international fronts.

Passover: A Spiritual Reflection and Revelation Fulfilled
For Shincheonji Church, Passover signifies more than the historical deliverance of Israel from Egypt during Moses’ time. It symbolizes salvation and spiritual renewal through the fulfillment of the Book of Revelation. Chairman Lee Man-hee’s sermon emphasized that true salvation in this era comes through understanding the revealed Word and escaping the disasters prophesied in Revelation.

He remarked, “Just as the Israelites were saved by the blood of the lamb, today’s believers can find salvation through the words of Revelation. Only by fully understanding and living according to this Word can we avoid judgment and receive the promise of eternal life.”

Celebrating Achievements: A Year of Evangelism and Bible Education
The 2024 ministry achievements were presented through a special video, showcasing nationwide sermons, large-scale Bible seminars, and the training of 110,000 graduates in the Word. Shincheonji’s reputation as a leader in Revelation teachings continues to grow, drawing the interest of pastors and believers worldwide.

The awards ceremony recognized outstanding evangelistic efforts, with the Peter Tribe’s Gwangju Church receiving accolades for their remarkable contributions in evangelism and Bible education. This acknowledgment reinforced the church’s collective commitment to spreading the Word and guiding others toward salvation.

A Vision for 2025: The ‘Year of Love and Blessing’
Looking ahead, Shincheonji Church has designated 2025 as the ‘Year of Love and Blessing.’ This theme reflects the church’s focus on embodying the teachings of Jesus Christ through acts of love, faith, and education. A church representative shared, “The Passover Service is a time to celebrate our faith’s fruits and align ourselves with the vision for the coming year. Through love, blessings, and good works, we aim to fulfill God’s will and spread light to the world.”

Chairman Lee encouraged the congregation to remain steadfast in their mission, stating, “We must become the light of the world, fully understand Revelation, and work together in unity to achieve the vision of God’s kingdom.”

Strengthened Unity for the Year Ahead
With a renewed sense of purpose and unity, Shincheonji Church is set to continue its mission of spreading the gospel and practicing good deeds in 2025. The church’s dedication to Revelation teachings and its commitment to peace and harmony remain at the heart of its vision for a brighter future.

Through its Passover Service and General Assembly, Shincheonji Church reaffirmed its role as a leader in Bible education and its mission to bring love and blessings to all corners of the world.
