Shincheonji Thaddaeus Tribe Opens Church Doors for 20 Years, Strengthening Community in Jeonju

The Shincheonji Thaddaeus Tribe (Doma Tribe) in Jeonju has continued a long-running community engagement initiative, keeping its church facilities open to local residents for nearly two decades. Located in Palbok-dong, Jeonju, the Shincheonji Thaddaeus Tribe Jeonju Church recently hosted another “Open Sanctuary” event, transforming its lobby into a welcoming space for neighborhood interaction. Residents gathered to enjoy busking performances, exchange handwritten message cards, and share tea in a relaxed setting. Chairman Lee Man-Hee Visits Shincheonji Incheon Church: Emphasizes the Importance of Revelation

On February 2, Chairman Lee Man-Hee of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, visited the Incheon Church to lead Sunday worship and deliver a powerful message on the importance of the Book of Revelation and its fulfillment. Following his visits to Pohang and Wonju earlier this year, this event left a significant impression on both members and local pastors.

During the worship service, Chairman Lee passionately covered the entirety of Revelation from chapters 1 to 22, emphasizing the significance of understanding its prophecies and their fulfillment. Highlighting Revelation 22, which warns against adding to or taking away from its words, he stressed the importance of accurately knowing and following this scripture.

He posed thought-provoking questions, asking, “Why has no one understood the true meaning of Revelation for over 2,000 years? Is it acceptable to remain ignorant of it?” He further underscored the global importance of Revelation’s fulfillment, lamenting that despite his repeated proposals for pastors in traditional Christian denominations to take a Revelation test, none have accepted the challenge.

The visit left a profound impact on the congregation. A Shincheonji Church member in his 20s expressed gratitude, saying, “Despite being well over 90 years old, Chairman Lee travels nationwide to teach the importance of Revelation and inspire revival. His dedication motivates me to strive to be a better believer by studying and practicing my faith more diligently.” Another member shared, “Before understanding Revelation, I felt that love and blessings were just words. Now that I know the true meaning of God’s Word, I can genuinely feel His love and even hope to love my neighbors as myself.”

The worship service was also attended by local pastors and media representatives, who showed great interest in the message. Lee Seok-Koo, leader of the Matthew Tribe, encouraged pastors to “unite with God and His Word and become wise leaders who share the complete message of Revelation with their congregations.”

Shincheonji Incheon Church has been actively engaging with the local community beyond its spiritual mission. Earlier this year, the church hosted a good-luck charm-sharing event for local merchants and announced plans to continue various social contribution activities to support the region.

Chairman Lee’s visit to Incheon not only reignited the faith of Shincheonji members but also highlighted the essential message of the Book of Revelation. The Incheon Church aims to continue spreading love and hope to its neighbors while living out the teachings of the Word they have received.
