A Journey of Faith: From Student to Teacher in Shincheonji Zambia

In the heart of Zambia, amidst challenges like unstable electricity and limited access to clean water, a remarkable transformation has taken place. Amina Mbewe, a dedicated woman of faith, has grown from a Bible student to a respected instructor at Shincheonji Church in Zambia. Her journey is a testament to the power of God’s word and the unwavering commitment to spreading the truth.

Discovering the True Meaning of Scripture

Amina's faith journey began in a traditional church where she often felt a deep longing for a more profound understanding of the Bible. Despite attending church for 15 years and even serving as a church secretary, she found that the teachings did not fully satisfy her spiritual thirst. This all changed when she was introduced to the Bible education program at Zion Christian Mission Center (ZCMC), operated by Shincheonji Church.

Through in-depth study, Amina discovered the true meaning behind biblical prophecies and their fulfillment. She realized that many traditional teachings were based on human interpretations, while Shincheonji’s approach relied solely on Scripture to explain itself. Understanding the book of Revelation, which had once seemed mysterious, became clear to her, deepening her conviction and faith.

Growing in Faith and Becoming a Teacher

Amina’s passion for learning quickly turned into a passion for teaching. Just a year after joining the program, she excelled in her studies and was appointed as a leader within her class. By May 2023, she became a group leader and later took on the role of an evangelist. In September 2024, she officially became a Bible instructor, guiding others on the same transformative path she once walked.

Her role now extends beyond just teaching; she actively leads students in discovering the truth of God’s word and helps them build a stronger faith. Her testimony is a shining example of how dedication and an open heart can lead to remarkable spiritual growth.

Faith in Action: Spreading the Word to Family and Beyond

Amina’s journey has also impacted her family. Initially, not everyone welcomed her newfound faith, but through patience and perseverance, she managed to touch the hearts of her loved ones. Today, her husband serves in a leadership role at Shincheonji Zambia, and her children actively participate in Bible study programs, walking together in faith.

Her ultimate goal is to continue spreading the message of God’s kingdom throughout Zambia, helping many others understand the Bible’s prophecies and their fulfillment. She firmly believes that God has called her to this path, and she is committed to leading others toward the truth.

The Growing Impact of Shincheonji in Zambia

Amina’s story is just one of many inspiring testimonies emerging from Shincheonji Church’s global outreach. As more people seek a deeper understanding of God’s word, the teachings provided by the 12 Tribes of Shincheonji continue to bring transformation and enlightenment to those longing for the truth.

The power of biblical knowledge has changed Amina’s life, and through her dedication, it continues to touch the lives of many others in Zambia. Her story is a reminder that faith, when nurtured with the right teachings, can lead to great personal and communal transformation.
