Shincheonji Daejeon Church Spreads the "Perfect Light" – A Gathering of 5,000 People

On a beautiful spring day, over 5,000 people, including pastors and journalists, gathered at Shincheonji Daejeon Church for the highly anticipated Revelation Seminar titled "Perfect Light." This event, hosted by the Matthias Tribe of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, delivered a powerful message about the true light of God's word and the fulfillment of biblical prophecy.

From the moment attendees arrived, they were welcomed with radiant smiles by church members, reflecting the very light they had come to witness. The atmosphere was electric with heartfelt praise as the choir's voices filled the main hall with the song, "Hallelujah, God!" A touching performance by the HCA Children's Musical Team titled "In Search of the Light of the Word" beautifully illustrated how God's word transforms lives, just as a caterpillar transforms into a butterfly.

The Light of God's Word: A Guide to the Kingdom of Heaven

During the seminar, Matthias Tribe Leader Jang Bang-sik explained that God, who is light without any darkness (1 John 1:5), has sent His promised shepherd to shine the light of life upon the world. He emphasized that just as Jesus fulfilled the Old Testament prophecies, today, the prophecies of Revelation are being fulfilled through the promised pastor of the New Testament.

Drawing from Genesis 1:3, where God said, "Let there be light," the seminar shed light on the true meaning of biblical "light." This light represents God's word, which brings life (John 1:4) and leads people out of spiritual darkness. Just as Jesus was the light of the world (John 8:12), believers today are called to become the light of the world (Matthew 5:14) by receiving and keeping God's word.

The Fulfillment of Revelation and the Creation of the New Heaven and New Earth

The message explained that Genesis 1 is not just about the physical creation of the world but symbolizes God's work of creating a new spiritual nation. The "light" on the first day represents God's word, which brings understanding and life to those lost in spiritual darkness. The seminar emphasized that today, God’s promised shepherd is carrying out this work by gathering believers, sealing them with His truth, and guiding them toward His kingdom.

Many pastors in attendance were deeply moved. One pastor expressed, "I have always struggled to understand Genesis 1, but today's teaching opened my eyes. Now I see how God's work of creation continues through His word." Another pastor, who had already transformed his church into a Shincheonji-affiliated congregation, shared his gratitude, saying, "After learning the truth, I changed the signboard of my church and now worship together with Shincheonji members. I am truly thankful to be giving glory to God with His true word."

Transforming Lives and Shining the Light of Truth

Many attendees testified to the impact of the seminar. A young man named Han Chang-su (25) shared, "Today's message on ‘Perfect Light’ was both profound and enlightening. I never imagined the Bible could give such deep wisdom. I want to learn more." Another participant, Park Sun-young (41), who attended with her sister, said, "I had no idea ‘light’ was such a major theme in the Bible. Now I understand why it's important to study the word. I want to follow the path of the word to the kingdom of heaven."

First-time visitor Lee Mi-hee (32) was amazed by the atmosphere, saying, "Everyone here looks so bright and happy! Being here makes me feel lighter, too. I've heard Shincheonji has amazing teachings, and now I see why. The word truly makes people shine."

A Growing Movement of Truth and Faith

Alongside the seminar, Shincheonji Daejeon Church provided opportunities for attendees to explore more about the fulfillment of Revelation through various exhibitions and educational booths. Across the street, the "New Cielo" promotional center offered an immersive experience of God's fulfilled prophecies, along with a peaceful café and an introduction to HWPL's global peace efforts. Visitors could also explore Shincheonji’s history and development, including media art displays that beautifully depict God’s 6,000-year journey.

Shincheonji continues to experience remarkable growth, with over 10,000 new graduates joining each year. In the past four years alone, more than 3,377 pastors have studied Shincheonji's teachings. With a goal of reaching 120,000 graduates by the end of 2025, the rapid expansion of Shincheonji Church is proving to be a turning point for the religious world. As the light of God's word continues to shine, more and more people are awakening to the truth. Now is the time to hear, see, and understand the fulfillment of God's promises.
