"Running Together, Living Together": Shincheonji Couple Found the True Meaning of Partnership on the Football Pitch

In celebration of "Married Couples' Day" in South Korea (May 21st), a unique love story from the Matthias Tribe Daejeon Church of Shincheonji is shedding light on what it truly means to walk through life as a team. For this particular husband and wife, the secrets to a harmonious marriage weren't found in a textbook, but rather on the football pitch and through their shared spiritual journey. A Match Made on the Pitch The couple's story began where they both feel most at home: the football field. The husband (referred to as A), a former professional football player in Thailand, returned to South Korea for injury treatment and tryouts. It was at a local football gathering in Daejeon that he met his future wife (B). While B had been practicing her faith at the Shincheonji Daejeon Church since 2006, A naturally joined her in 2015 after learning the Bible's teachings. For both, the Word-centered faith—which strictly emphasizes love and harmony—became the bedrock ...

A Powerful Message of Revelation: Chairman Lee Man-Hee Visits Daegu Church of Thaddaeus

On April 23rd, over 10,000 people gathered at the Daegu Church of Thaddaeus, one of the 12 tribes of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, to attend a special noon worship service led by Chairman Lee Man-Hee. Despite being 94 years old, Chairman Lee continues to travel across Korea, boldly testifying about the fulfillment of Revelation.

The church building was filled with believers and curious pastors who had come to witness firsthand the teachings that are transforming lives and ministries. Many arrived hours early to secure a seat, eager to hear the testimony of a man who has devoted his life to delivering the revealed Word.

A Revolution in Evangelism

Chairman Lee’s visit to Daegu highlighted the incredible growth and passion within the Thaddaeus tribe. Once a small church in an empty field, it has now become a powerful center of truth, built through years of dedicated evangelism. The term “evangelism revolution” was echoed by leaders and attendees alike, emphasizing the unprecedented results being seen through the Word of Revelation.

Church leaders reported that over 850 evangelism staff from all 12 tribes gathered for the occasion, including members from the James Tribe in Busan and the Andrew Tribe. The unified focus? To spread the light of truth to their communities through the fulfilled Word.

Emphasis on the Fulfillment of Revelation

During his message, Chairman Lee strongly emphasized that salvation in this time hinges on understanding and believing in the fulfillment of Revelation. He urged everyone, especially pastors, to reflect deeply on who they are in the Bible and to test his testimony if they believe it contains any errors.

Chairman Lee declared, “The Book of Revelation is not just a prophecy—it is a promise that is being fulfilled today. Just as Jesus fulfilled the Old Testament promises at His first coming, He is now fulfilling the New Testament promises at His second coming. Those who see and believe the reality will be saved.”

He added that Shincheonji is the “new heaven and new earth” mentioned in Revelation 7—a community created after the end of the former heaven and earth in Revelation 6. He called on believers to become living testimonies of the Word, saying, “We must become walking Bibles—people who carry the Word within and live it out.”

Changing Lives Through the Word

Many attendees were deeply moved by the experience. One young woman shared, “I used to think life ended with death. But through learning Revelation, I discovered the path to eternal life. Now I want to live as someone God acknowledges.”

Another believer said, “Just knowing the Word is not enough. I want to be someone who embodies it—like Jesus, a living light to the world.”

Even pastors in attendance were deeply impacted. One remarked, “I have never felt such powerful energy in worship. The faith and passion I saw in the believers here challenged me to reflect on my own ministry.”

Shincheonji’s Growing Global Impact

The Thaddaeus Tribe has already signed over 740 Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with churches around the world, with more being added each month. Leaders and pastors are paying attention—not just because of the numbers, but because of the deep, Bible-based teaching that’s drawing them closer to God.

Chairman Lee’s visit to Daegu was not just a momentous event—it was a powerful reminder that God’s promises are being fulfilled today. As the influence of the revealed Word continues to grow, more people are discovering the true meaning of faith, salvation, and the Bible.
