Chairman Man Hee Lee: Spreading the Word of Revelation and the Promise of Peace

On April 2 2025, Chairman Man Hee Lee of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, visited the Philip Tribe's Wonju Church in Gangwon Province. During the midday service, he delivered a powerful message emphasizing the importance of faith based on the fulfillment of the Bible’s prophecies.

“God’s Word is not a lie. It records what will be fulfilled, and today, we are witnessing its fulfillment. This is why we must understand and believe in these words.”

These words resonated deeply with the 850 congregation members who responded with heartfelt “Amen.” Despite being 94 years old, Chairman Lee continues his tireless mission, traveling across South Korea—including stops in Pohang, Seoul, Incheon, Daegu, Ulsan, Busan, and Gwangju—to spread the truth of Revelation. His nationwide tour has been met with great enthusiasm and gratitude from believers.

The Reality of Revelation: The Key Message of Chairman Lee

As Chairman Lee arrived at the church, crowds of eager believers overflowed into the streets, yet their gathering remained incredibly orderly. The unity and discipline of Shincheonji members once again drew admiration from onlookers.

The core of Chairman Lee’s message is centered on the reality of Revelation. Shincheonji Church, grounded in this biblical foundation, successfully graduated 110,000 students from its Zion Christian Mission Center in 2023 and aims to reach 120,000 graduates in 2024.

During his sermon, Chairman Lee referenced Revelation 22, emphasizing the significance of the tree of life and its twelve kinds of fruit. He explained that the fruit symbolizes God’s Word, and understanding it correctly is the path to salvation.

“When the prophecy of Revelation is fulfilled, a world of peace will come. Without war and the devil, only peace will remain.”

He firmly stated that these words are absolute and will be fulfilled exactly as written. He urged believers to have complete knowledge of the Bible to be recognized by God.

Chairman Lee also addressed the state of traditional churches, stating, “No matter how much they claim to be orthodox, without the Bible, they cannot be true. Pastors must wake up, repent, and return to God’s Word.” He emphasized that those who truly understand Revelation will be part of the twelve tribes as described in Revelation 15, where God’s dwelling is established.

Shincheonji’s Global Expansion

The influence of Shincheonji Church is no longer confined to South Korea. Its teachings are spreading worldwide, with remarkable achievements such as official recognition in Ethiopia and accreditation as a theological institution by South Africa’s government.

Even within the religious community, change is happening. More pastors are attending Shincheonji’s seminars, with many acknowledging the biblical accuracy of the church’s teachings. One pastor who attended a recent seminar stated, “To truly understand the truth, one must compare and confirm it. I encourage others to have an open mind and seek the truth.”

The movement continues to grow, as people recognize that Shincheonji is fulfilling the words of Revelation precisely as written. This is further evidenced by the increasing number of believers eager to understand the Bible’s true meaning.

A New Era of Faith Based on Fulfillment

Attendees of Chairman Lee’s sermon expressed deep inspiration. A young believer shared, “Before, my friends were skeptical of Shincheonji, but now, more people are interested in hearing the Word.” Others expressed their gratitude for Chairman Lee’s dedication, despite his age, in tirelessly delivering God’s Word across the nation.

A Shincheonji member reflected, “Before, God felt distant to me. But through Shincheonji, I have found a faith based on the evidence of fulfillment.”

As the world witnesses the unfolding of biblical prophecy, Shincheonji Church continues its mission—to spread the truth of God’s promises, bringing people closer to His Word. With the foundation of Revelation’s fulfillment, the hope for a world of peace is becoming a reality.
