A Faith Revolution: Shincheonji’s Weekly Revelation Exams Empower Believers

What if your church tested your understanding of Revelation every week?

At Shincheonji’s John Tribe, believers are transforming their faith through Scripture exams—turning knowledge into confidence, and belief into bold testimony.

While many churches focus on sermons and group study, one church in South Korea is transforming the way believers approach the Bible—through weekly Scripture exams centered on the book of Revelation.

Memorizing Scripture, Living the Word

At Shincheonji Church of Jesus - John Tribe, members take regular Bible tests to confirm their understanding and "sealing" in the Word. These exams are not about simple memorization, but embodying and living the prophecies found in Revelation. The church teaches that adding or taking away from Revelation disqualifies one from heaven, based on Revelation 22:18–19, and takes that warning seriously.

The results are remarkable. From January to April 2025, Shincheonji members averaged 99 out of 100 on these tests, with 97% participation and 99.9% scoring above 90. In the John Tribe alone, average scores reached 99.8.

Real Faith, Real Change

Testimonies from members speak to a deeper spiritual awakening. One member shared, “My faith used to be like a child constantly asking for things. But these exams helped me grow and experience God’s love more deeply.” Another said, “Now I can explain the Word without even looking at the Bible. My faith has become clear and confident.”

Even former pastors are noticing the difference. A Presbyterian pastor who joined Shincheonji said, “Traditional churches can’t keep up with this level of biblical understanding. Shincheonji guided me to comprehend Revelation verse by verse without distortion. It changed my life.”

A Challenge to the Christian World

Shincheonji asserts that no one outside their church fully understands Revelation—because no one else has seen or heard its fulfillment. They challenge critics to prove otherwise, not with opinions but with Scripture.

This bold approach is fueling a global wave of interest. Tens of thousands of pastors and believers have reached out, seeking to learn what Shincheonji teaches.

Faith That Transforms

At its core, this movement isn’t about tests—it’s about transformation. Members are becoming “walking Bibles,” not just reading Scripture, but embodying it. The impact on their faith and daily lives is undeniable.

In an age when many avoid Revelation for its complexity, Shincheonji’s approach is reviving the heart of biblical prophecy—and challenging the world to take another look.
