Located in Palbok-dong, Jeonju, the Shincheonji Thaddaeus Tribe Jeonju Church recently hosted another “Open Sanctuary” event, transforming its lobby into a welcoming space for neighborhood interaction. Residents gathered to enjoy busking performances, exchange handwritten message cards, and share tea in a relaxed setting. According to the church, the initiative is not a one-time event but part of a 20-year tradition of lowering physical and social barriers between religious facilities and the surrounding community. Why Are Pastors Around the World Turning to Shincheonji?

A Shift in Global Christianity

In recent years, more and more pastors, theologians, and Bible students from around the world have begun looking to one church in South Korea: Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony.

Why? Because Shincheonji doesn't just interpret the book of Revelation — it testifies actual fulfillment of Revelation. While many Christian leaders have historically avoided Revelation due to its symbolic and complex nature, Shincheonji has drawn attention by offering detailed, structured explanations based on the Bible, including real-world evidence of prophecy coming to life.

Chairman Man Hee Lee’s Testimony Draws Crowds

Chairman Man Hee Lee is leading this movement. At age 94, he continues to travel across South Korea, speaking directly to Christian leaders at large-scale Bible seminars.

In these events, he shares how the promises in the book of Revelation — long thought to be mysterious and distant — have been fulfilled today. His teachings are based on what he claims to have seen and heard as a witness to the events described in Revelation, in line with Revelation 22:8,16.

Thousands of pastors and religious leaders — from Korea and abroad — have attended these seminars. Some have said,

“This was the clearest and most powerful explanation of Revelation I’ve ever heard.”

Sealing Through the Word: A Growing Movement

Those who accept this testimony are not just listening — they are taking action.

  •  Over 13,000 churches in 88 countries have signed Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with Shincheonji for Bible education.

  •  More than 1,500 churches have even changed their signs to reflect partnership with Shincheonji.

  • In just the past three years, over 10,000 pastors and seminary students have graduated from Shincheonji’s Bible education program, the Zion Christian Mission Center.

This growth is not fueled by emotion, but by what many describe as a “verse-by-verse, logic-based, and fulfillment-centered” teaching of the Bible. Many pastors confess that their understanding of Revelation has changed completely through these lessons.

The Sealing Exam: Proving Biblical Knowledge

Every student who wants to join Shincheonji must complete a comprehensive Bible course and pass the Sealing Exam — a rigorous test on the content of both the Old and New Testaments, especially the book of Revelation.

Those who pass are called the Firstfruits (Revelation 14:1–5) and become part of the 12 tribes of Shincheonji — the newly created spiritual nation formed according to the promises of Revelation chapters 7 and 14.

Testimonies That Cross Borders

Pastors from France, the Philippines, Israel, and even Islamic and Hindu leaders have attended Shincheonji seminars. Many express amazement at the clarity and biblical depth of the teaching.

One pastor from Tanzania shared,

“We prayed for someone to explain Revelation. We believe we’ve found the answer.”

A Jewish rabbi from Tel Aviv said,

“I now believe Jesus Christ is working spiritually. I will go back and tell my people that the promised pastor has appeared in Korea.”

A Call to the World: Come and See

Chairman Lee and Shincheonji continue to invite all Christians, regardless of denomination, to “come and see” — to verify through the Bible whether the promises of Revelation have truly been fulfilled.

With over 100,000 students graduating annually from Zion Mission Center, and more pastors signing MOUs each month, the momentum continues to grow.

This isn’t just a revival — it’s a return to the Word.
