A New Era in Korean Christianity: Over 100 Established Churches Display Shincheonji Jesus Church Signage

In a significant and historical shift in the Korean religious landscape, over 100 churches affiliated with established denominations—such as Presbyterian, Holiness, and Full Gospel—have voluntarily put up signage for Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony. These churches are not only embracing the signage, but also boldly preaching the teachings of Revelation as taught by Shincheonji, marking the beginning of a Word-centered reformation.

Pastors Embrace the Word, Not the Label

According to Shincheonji's HQ Department of Domestic Missions, pastors who have participated in the church’s Bible education and Word exchange programs are now preaching the Word within their own congregations. Many say the messages they've received have answered long-held questions about the Book of Revelation.

One pastor shared,

“Shincheonji explained the Book of Revelation clearly through the Bible. It was what I had been searching for my whole life. Now I realize it’s not about a label, but about knowing and keeping God’s Word.”

From Misunderstanding to Revival

Chairman Man Hee Lee emphasized that believing in Shincheonji is not the goal.

“Believe in God and His Word. It’s not about joining Shincheonji, but about pastors leading their congregations to the truth through Scripture.”

Since the cooperative church initiative launched in October 2024, more than 100 churches have joined. In addition, over 858 churches have signed MOUs to exchange the Word of God with Shincheonji. This rapid expansion reveals a hunger for biblical truth and revival across denominations.

Tangible Church Growth and Transformation

Churches that were once in decline are now witnessing transformation.

  • Congregation numbers are growing

  • Voluntary evangelism is spreading

  • Faith and worship participation is revitalized

A pastor in Seoul noted,

“After preaching Shincheonji’s Word, our church feels alive again. People are inviting their friends and family because they are moved by the truth.”

Pastors in other regions echoed the same sentiment—reporting changes in faith attitude, renewed commitment, and a deep sense of purpose among believers.

Scripture Over Denomination

The shift is not merely organizational; it is deeply spiritual. Pastors say it's time to put Scripture above denominational boundaries.

A veteran pastor from Seoul declared,

“Jesus did not belong to any denomination. We must return to the Word of God as the true standard of faith.”

This movement reflects a growing consensus that true revival must be rooted in God’s Word—not tradition, not structure.

A Movement Comparable to the Reformation

A Shincheonji representative stated,

“What we are witnessing is not just growth. It’s a historical change comparable to the Reformation. It is the beginning of restoring true, Word-centered faith.”

Shincheonji Church of Jesus remains committed to preaching the Revelation word as it is—unchanged and unaltered—until the day when churches around the world unite through the Word of God.
