Revealing the Fulfillment of Revelation: Chairman Man Hee Lee Visits Songha Church in Gwangju

On June 1, 2025, over 15,000 believers and pastors gathered at Shincheonji Church of Jesus, Songha Church in Gwangju. It was not just a large-scale Sunday service, but a powerful moment of spiritual awakening. Chairman Man Hee Lee delivered a message that resonated deeply: faith must be grounded in truth, and that truth is found in the fulfilled word of Revelation.

A Church That Teaches the Fulfillment, Not Just Theory

Chairman Lee began by affirming the fulfillment of the Book of Revelation and stressed the importance of knowing the reality that has appeared according to prophecy. "The one who adds to or takes away from Revelation cannot enter the kingdom of heaven,” he declared, citing Revelation 22:18–19. “What matters is not titles or authority, but the truth based on God’s word.”

He emphasized that no pastor can enter heaven if they distort the Revelation. “Only those who have seen, heard, and received the word directly from God can testify about the fulfillment,” he said, challenging traditional religious systems that rely on human interpretation over biblical testimony.

“Re-Created by the Word”: Shincheonji’s Faith in Action

Chairman Lee also explained the meaning of spiritual rebirth and new creation as recorded in Revelation 21. "The first heaven and the first earth pass away, and the new heaven and new earth are created," he said. "This is the process of recreation, where God dwells with His people again.”

He affirmed that Shincheonji’s belief is not based on emotion or tradition, but on what has actually been fulfilled according to the Bible. “The Word re-creates people,” he said. “This is the faith of Shincheonji.”

Pastors: “I’ve Finally Understood Revelation”

The event drew not only regular believers but many Christian pastors—some of whom shared their transformation stories after encountering Shincheonji’s teachings.

Pastor Jo (73), a former Presbyterian pastor of 27 years, said, “Theological education never helped me understand the reality of prophecy. But at Shincheonji, I’ve seen it with my own eyes.”

Another pastor, Kim (recently converted), remarked, “I was deeply moved by the Word I encountered on YouTube, which led me to enroll in the Zion Christian Mission Center. The accusation of ‘heresy’ from traditional churches is often rooted in ignorance.”

Faith with Logical and Biblical Evidence

Even seminary students expressed amazement. One noted, “I had studied many theories, but it was at Shincheonji where I finally learned to interpret Scripture with Scripture. Revelation became real for the first time.”

A journalist in attendance commented, “Chairman Lee’s message wasn’t just emotional—it was logical, deeply rooted in the structure and fulfillment of the Bible. It challenged my understanding of what faith should be.”

Songha Church: Growing Faith and Community

Songha Church, part of the Peter Tribe of Shincheonji, is based in Gwangju’s Nam-gu district. It began in 2010 with 1,000 members and has now grown to over 7,000. With a five-story worship center and active outreach through volunteering, cultural events, and the popular “Shincheonji Festival,” the church has become a vital part of the local community.

Peter Tribe, founded in 1987, now spans cities across South Jeolla Province—including Mokpo, Yeosu, Suncheon, Gwangyang, and Haenam.

A Clear Message to All Christians

In a time when confusion and division surround faith, Shincheonji emphasizes a return to the Word. Chairman Lee’s message in Gwangju wasn’t just about theology—it was about recognizing the reality of God’s promises that are being fulfilled today.

For those seeking truth, he urged: “Don’t follow people. Follow the Word. The Word is the standard, and the Word never lies.”
