The "Heavenly Exam": 7,400+ Believers in Busan Challenge Themselves with Bible Memorization

While many are moving away from religious texts, one community in Busan is doing the exact opposite. The Shincheonji Andrew Tribe recently held its "Heavenly Exam" (Cheonguk-gosi) , a rigorous test focused on memorizing and understanding the Book of Revelation. Why the "Heavenly Exam"?   This isn't just about grades. It's about a "spiritual reset." After seeing a massive 3-fold increase in participants compared to last year, over 7,459 believers sat for the exam on March 28th. The goal? To embed the Word of God into their daily lives and build a faith that isn't just a weekend hobby, but a lifestyle. Real People, Real Change: For Young Professionals: Like 29-year-old Park Jung-won, who memorized verses during his commute. "It helped me build a habit of self-discipline and reflection," he says. For Seniors: Like 72-year-old Kim Soon-bok, who stayed up late to study. "Memorizing keeps my mind focused and elevates my meditation...

3rd Shincheonji Bible Seminar for Pastors Held in Cheongju

On July 12, 2025, Shincheonji Church of Jesus (led by Chairman Man Hee Lee) held this year’s third Bible Seminar for Pastors at its Cheongju Church. This large-scale seminar was attended by Christian pastors from across the country, and marked the first event of its kind in two months, following the one previously held in Gapyeong in May.

Strong Interest from Pastors of Established Denominations

This Bible seminar continued to draw attention due to the steady participation of pastors from traditional denominations. As Shincheonji continues to testify to the fulfillment of the Book of Revelation, more church leaders are showing interest in verifying the message for themselves.

The seminar began with a joyful performance by a traditional Korean music team, followed by praise from the church choir, a greeting from the host tribe leader, and a prayer led by the Peter Tribe leader. Attendees were then shown a video introducing Shincheonji’s history, mission, and global vision.

Chairman Lee’s Bible Lecture: From Prophecy to Reality

Chairman Lee Man Hee delivered the main lecture of the day. Focusing on the Book of Revelation, he provided a detailed explanation of its prophecies and their fulfillment, supported by biblical evidence. His message was clear: Revelation is no longer a sealed or symbolic book, but one that is now being fulfilled in real life, just as written.

Pastors Share Their Honest Impressions

The seminar featured more than just a lecture—it sparked genuine reflection and conversation among attendees.

One pastor shared:

“I received an invitation after seeing a fellow church in my area change after hearing the Shincheonji Word. I heard that the number of members was recovering and that even the spiritual atmosphere had changed—so I came to see it for myself.”

Another, returning for the second time, said:

“Through the Word, I was able to rebuild the foundation of my ministry. This time, I came back—with fellow pastors I brought along myself.”

A third pastor expressed how much the message had impacted him:

“After witnessing the transformation in a friend who heard this message, I felt a responsibility toward the Word—even enough to leave my denomination.”

These honest testimonies reflect a growing movement—pastors seeking truth through Scripture, open to change, and willing to examine the Bible anew.

📖 The Book of Revelation is not about fear or confusion. It is a promise that is being fulfilled—and many are now seeing it for themselves.
