“Believers Must Confirm Revelation” — Shincheonji Yeosu Church’s First Seminar

On September 21, Shincheonji Church of Jesus, Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, Yeosu Church of the Peter Tribe held its first-ever Word Seminar under the theme “6,000 Years of God’s History Completed in Revelation.” The historic gathering drew around 750 participants, both in-person and online, including local citizens and people of faith across the region.

A Historic First in Yeosu

Yeosu, a city with deep roots in Korean Christianity, became the stage for the Word Seminar of Revelation for the very first time. The event’s atmosphere was marked by anticipation, as participants gathered to hear the explanation of God’s promises and their fulfillment in the book of Revelation.

Senior Pastor Kim Choong-gil delivered the lecture, walking participants through the flow of Scripture from Genesis to Revelation. He emphasized that the 6,000 years of God’s work, beginning in Genesis, reach their completion in the fulfillment of Revelation today.

“Revelation is the new covenant established through the blood of Jesus Christ,” Pastor Kim explained. “Now is the time when this covenant is being fulfilled and its realities can be confirmed before our very eyes.”

The Core Message of Fulfillment

Pastor Kim highlighted Revelation 22, warning that adding to or taking away from the prophecy prevents entry into heaven. He explained that God has appointed one witness to testify to the fulfillment of Revelation, making it essential for all believers to recognize and believe in this testimony to receive true salvation.

“Those who believe in God and His Word must confirm the fulfillment of Revelation today,” Pastor Kim urged. “This is the time to see it with our eyes and engrave it in our hearts.”

Voices from the Audience

The seminar also left a strong impression on attendees of different faith backgrounds.

  • A Catholic believer of 20 years shared, “Revelation always felt distant and difficult. Today’s lecture helped me realize that faith must go beyond vague belief to confirmation through the Word.”

  • A Buddhist monk who attended remarked, “I came with the heart of seeking truth beyond religion. The explanation of God’s promises and their fulfillment was impressive and clear.”

Continuing the Word Seminar Movement

With Yeosu joining the list of cities hosting Revelation seminars, the nationwide movement continues to expand. Shincheonji Yeosu Church expressed its commitment to holding more events that allow believers and community members to directly hear the testimony of the fulfillment of Revelation.
