"Running Together, Living Together": Shincheonji Couple Found the True Meaning of Partnership on the Football Pitch

In celebration of "Married Couples' Day" in South Korea (May 21st), a unique love story from the Matthias Tribe Daejeon Church of Shincheonji is shedding light on what it truly means to walk through life as a team. For this particular husband and wife, the secrets to a harmonious marriage weren't found in a textbook, but rather on the football pitch and through their shared spiritual journey. A Match Made on the Pitch The couple's story began where they both feel most at home: the football field. The husband (referred to as A), a former professional football player in Thailand, returned to South Korea for injury treatment and tryouts. It was at a local football gathering in Daejeon that he met his future wife (B). While B had been practicing her faith at the Shincheonji Daejeon Church since 2006, A naturally joined her in 2015 after learning the Bible's teachings. "I Was Wrong": Prominent Pastors in Busan Turn to Shincheonji After Decades of Ministry

A Courageous Admission of Truth

"I used to hide my identity to listen to these lectures because I was so desperate to understand Revelation," confessed Pastor Heo Ji-hoon (pseudonym). His story is one of many surfacing in the wake of the recent Busan Bible Seminar. For many lifelong ministers, the journey to Shincheonji began with skepticism but ended in a profound spiritual resolution.

80% Return Rate: Why Pastors are Coming Back

One of the most striking statistics from the Busan region is the 80% return rate of participating pastors. This high frequency of re-attendance serves as a powerful testament to the clarity and depth of the "Revealed Word."

  • Pastor Jeong Hyeon-su: "I used to be a fierce opponent of Shincheonji. But after hearing the testimony of Revelation's fulfillment, my perspective completely transformed."

  • Pastor Kim Shin-seong: "After 40 years of ministry, I realized I had been misinformed. I now understand that this Word is what my congregation truly needs."

A Unified Call for Reform

The seminar reached a moving climax when 12 pastors from established denominations took to the stage. They issued a collective call to action: "Let us stand again by the Revealed Word without altering it, and become true shepherds." Their gesture of presenting flowers to Chairman Lee symbolized a new era of respect and cooperation, replacing decades of persecution.

Beyond Labels to the Truth

The movement in Busan and Gyeongnam proves that when the Truth is presented clearly, even the most rigid denominational walls can be transcended. Shincheonji Church of Jesus continues its national tour, inviting all who seek the Truth to witness the fulfillment for themselves.

  1. A beautiful seminar! According to Revelation chapter 22 verses 8 and 16, there is one messenger, chosen by Jesus, who is shown the fulfilled realities of the Book of Revelation and is sent to testify that fulfilled reality to the churches. If Chairman Lee isn’t actually the fulfilled reality of that promise, then please show me who is according to the scriptures.
