"Comments are Kindness": Shincheonji Bucheon Church Promoting Positive Digital Culture

In an era where communication has rapidly shifted online, the consequences of cyberbullying and hate speech have become a serious social concern. To address this, the Bucheon Church of the Shincheonji Bartholomew Tribe launched a citizen-participatory "Digital Ethics Campaign" near Sangdong Station to foster a warmer, more respectful internet culture. Transforming Clicks into Kindness Under the theme "Comments are Consideration," the campaign aimed to prevent cyber violence and promote respectful language on social media. Rather than a one-way lecture, the event featured interactive corners where citizens could: Write Supportive Comments: Participants personally drafted messages of respect and encouragement. Take the Digital Literacy Quiz: A simple quiz was designed to help people intuitively understand that every comment is a message where hearts connect. Beyond Tradition: 2,000 Gather in Naju for the "Revealed Word" and Church Dedication

A Historic Milestone in the Center of Jeollado

On April 29, the city of Naju—historically known as a bastion of Confucian tradition and conservative religious sentiment—witnessed a significant spiritual event. The "2026 Shincheonji Bible Seminar" was held at the newly elevated Naju Church of the Peter Tribe, drawing approximately 2,000 attendees, including 150 pastors from the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions.

This seminar was particularly special as it coincided with the dedication ceremony for the Naju Church, which officially became the 8th branch church of the Peter Tribe earlier this year.

The Message: Verification of the "Physical Reality"

Chairman Lee Man-hee, as the keynote speaker, emphasized that the Book of Revelation is not just a collection of metaphors, but a promise from God that manifests as a "physical reality".

  • The Witness: He stated that these fulfilled realities can be verified through a witness who has seen and heard the events firsthand.

  • A Solemn Warning: Reminding the audience of the biblical promise that those who "add or subtract" from Revelation cannot enter heaven, he urged the clergy to master the Word first to lead their congregations correctly.

Voices from the Clergy: A Shift in Perception

The highlight for many observers was seeing local pastors, who are often the most cautious regarding new theological movements, actively participating and taking notes.

One pastor, who has already signed a Word Exchange MOU, shared his experience: "I’ve studied the Bible in various denominations, but very few places could explain the physical reality of Revelation." He noted that this seminar served as a crucial opportunity to broaden his spiritual understanding.

Expanding the Horizon of Communication

Yoo Jae-wook, the Peter Tribe Leader, reinforced the tribe's commitment to open dialogue, stating that the seminar aims to transcend denominational barriers and foster communication centered on the Word. With the elevation of the Naju Church, the tribe plans to intensify its efforts in local evangelism and community service.

A New Chapter for Naju

The success of the Naju seminar proves that even in regions with deep traditional roots, the hunger for clear, biblical answers is undeniable. The "2026 Wave" continues to move across the nation, replacing old prejudices with a new era of open verification and unity.
