"Don't Add or Subtract": 3,000 Gather in Jeonju to Verify the Fulfilled Reality of Revelation

A Bold Call in the City of Tradition

On May 9 2026, the Jeonju Church of the Thaddaeus Tribe became a center for theological verification. Jeonju, known for its deep-rooted conservative Christian values, witnessed an extraordinary scene: approximately 3,000 attendees, including 150 active local pastors, gathered to scrutinize the message of the "Revealed Word".

The Gravity of the Warning: Revelation 22:18–19

Chairman Lee Man-hee delivered a powerful lecture centered on the biblical warning against adding to or subtracting from the Book of Revelation.

  • The Criteria for Heaven: He emphasized that "saying 'Lord, Lord' is not enough; one must follow the will of Heaven".

  • The Reality of Fulfillment: He argued that while anyone can speak of prophecy before it happens, only those who have witnessed the fulfillment can testify to the "physical reality".

  • A Personal Testimony: Chairman Lee shared that he testifies to what he has directly seen and heard regarding the events from Revelation chapters 1 to 22.

Breaking the Silence: Pastors Seek the "Missing Piece"

The most striking part of the Jeonju seminar was the candid feedback from long-time ministers who admitted to the limitations of traditional theological education.

  • The Search for Interpretation: Pastor Jung (with nearly 30 years of experience) noted that "even in divinity schools, Revelation is not interpreted" and shared that he felt he had finally found what he was searching for through fasting and prayer.

  • Biblical Application: Pastor Kang (26 years in ministry) mentioned that he is already applying Shincheonji’s teachings to his ministry, noting that his congregation responds positively to the clear explanations of biblical metaphors.

  • Encouraging Verification: Participating clergy urged their peers not to judge blindly but to "come, listen, and then decide" based on the scriptures.

Beyond the Lecture: A Forum for Unity

Following the main session, a "Minister’s Forum for Union and Vision" was held. For about an hour, pastors engaged in a transparent discussion regarding the causes of denominational division and the biblical standards for unity. They even participated in a "thought-sharing" session, answering specific questions about the sealed book and the blessings promised in Revelation to deepen their understanding.

A Thirst for Truth in Jeonju

The Jeonju seminar proved that the desire for the truth transcends denominational walls and regional conservatism. As Thaddaeus Tribe Leader Lee Yong-woo stated, the active participation of local clergy reflects a "deep longing for the Word of Truth". The "2026 Wave" continues to turn prejudice into verification.
