It is already July!

First half of 2023 is already over and we are in the second half of the year.

Time really flies!

Today, July 17th, is actually the Constituion Day in Korea.

It is the day to celebrate the establishment of constitution in Korea.

It is not a national holiday but important day in Korea. 

As summer is the season when people take vacations, I decided to introduce you national holidays in Korea, especially in the year 2023.

- January 1st: New Year's Day

- January 21st ~ 23rd: Lunar New Year

- January 24th: Substitute Holiday


March

- March 1st: Independence Movement Day

- May 5th: Children's Day

- May 27th: Buddha's Birthday

- May 29th: Buddha's Birhday Substitute Holiday


June

- June 6th: Memorial Day


August

- August 15th: Liberation Day


September

- September 29th~30th: Chuseok (Thanksgiving) 


October

- October 3rd: National Foundation Day

- October 9th: Hangul (Korean Alphabet) Day
