What began as a domestic legal dispute in South Korea has officially reached the global stage. CAP LC, a prominent international human rights NGO holding special consultative status with the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), has submitted a formal written statement to the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC). The petition voices growing international alarm over institutional discrimination, social stigma, and the erosion of due process affecting minority groups, specifically focusing on the recent treatment of the Shincheonji Church of Jesus. Shincheonji’s Groundbreaking Seminar Draws Hundreds of Pastors

On January 11th, Shincheonji Church of Jesus held a groundbreaking event in Cheongju, South Korea: the Shincheonji Word Seminar on the Fulfillment of Revelation. Over 700 pastors from various denominations attended, marking a significant moment in the Christian community.

This large turnout was influenced by positive feedback from pastors who had previously attended similar seminars. Many testified to the profound impact of the teachings, calling them revelations they had never encountered before in traditional churches.


Shincheonji’s leader, Chairman Man-Hee Lee, delivered an in-depth lecture on the book of Revelation. He emphasized the importance of understanding biblical prophecy and its fulfillment, urging pastors to guide their congregations with truth and clarity. His passionate message resonated with attendees, many of whom expressed a renewed sense of purpose and commitment to their faith.


The numbers speak for themselves. Shincheonji Church has signed MOUs with 779 churches in Korea, and 83 have changed their church signs to reflect this partnership. Globally, the church has collaborated with 13,448 churches across 88 countries, with over 110 million affiliated believers.
