Located in Palbok-dong, Jeonju, the Shincheonji Thaddaeus Tribe Jeonju Church recently hosted another “Open Sanctuary” event, transforming its lobby into a welcoming space for neighborhood interaction. Residents gathered to enjoy busking performances, exchange handwritten message cards, and share tea in a relaxed setting. When Faith Meets Care: A Story of Growing Together

Shincheonji Church of Jesus in Bucheon (Bartholomew Tribe) recently held a meaningful campaign called “Naeri-sarang,” which means “love that flows downward.”

This kind of love is like how parents naturally care for their children. In the church, it means that those who have more experience in faith care for and support those who are newer or younger.

Since February, members of the church have been meeting in small groups to talk, listen, and support each other. These meetings helped people feel more connected and understood.

One young member said,
“I felt like watching a tree grow. I realized how important it is to wait for others and cheer them on as they grow in faith.”

Another member shared,
“The older members comforted us like big sisters or close friends. Because of their love, I felt encouraged and wanted to be more open and caring too.”

The campaign brought healing, comfort, and stronger relationships in the church. Many felt the love of Jesus through these sincere conversations. Because of the positive response, the campaign has been extended through May.

This is what Naeri-sarang looks like—love that comes from above and flows warmly to others.
