A Turning Point in Christianity: Pastors Flock to Confirm Shincheonji’s Bible Teachings

May 17 Bible Seminar Draws Over 500 Pastors — Breaking Prejudice with Truth

A Wake-Up Call for the Church Community

Something remarkable happened on May 17, 2025, at the Shincheonji Peace Training Institute in Cheongpyeong, South Korea.

What began as a seminar planned for 200 attendees quickly turned into a large-scale outdoor event as over 500 pastors registered — many of whom once held strong prejudices against Shincheonji Church of Jesus. Their reason for coming was simple yet powerful:

“I came to check the Word for myself.”

What Was Once Feared Is Now Sought After

This was the second Bible Seminar of 2025, following the groundbreaking January event in Cheongju where over 700 pastors gathered. Interest in Shincheonji’s Bible teachings has since grown rapidly — not out of curiosity alone, but out of a deep hunger for answers, especially about the Book of Revelation.

The May 17 seminar titled "Testimony on the Fulfillment of Revelation" offered not opinions, but evidence-based teaching on the entire book of Revelation. Chairman Man Hee Lee, founder of Shincheonji, delivered a 90-minute message without opening a Bible — because he has memorized Revelation chapters 1 through 22, and speaks based on what he has seen and heard (Revelation 22:8, 16).

“This Matches the Bible — I Had to See It for Myself”

Pastors in attendance were visibly moved.

One shared:

“I got goosebumps listening to the Word. I now feel it’s my responsibility to confirm the truth for the sake of my congregation.”

Another admitted:

“For decades, I couldn’t make sense of Revelation. But today, I saw it unfold logically and clearly. It made me wonder if I’ve been spiritually blind all this time.”

Several pastors called for more education and follow-up training, requesting deeper studies into the fulfilled Word.

Breaking the Stigma — Toward a New Understanding

Pastors who once labeled Shincheonji a "cult" are now speaking out, urging others to verify the teachings themselves rather than relying on rumors.

“I believed what others said about Shincheonji. But after hearing the Word myself, I realized I had been misled,” said one pastor.
“If the testimony is truly aligned with the Bible, we must acknowledge it — no matter where it comes from.”

This honest, Bible-based approach is leading to a paradigm shift in the Korean church community.

The Evidence Speaks: 100M+ YouTube Views and 850 MOUs

Alongside these seminars, Shincheonji’s YouTube Revelation and Bible seminar videos have now surpassed 100 million views worldwide. More and more viewers — including pastors — are watching and studying the teachings, with many incorporating them into their own messages.

  • 858 churches in Korea have signed MOUs for Bible education.

  • 100 churches have officially changed their signs to reflect their partnership with Shincheonji.

  • Seminar footage continues to circulate among clergy who once remained silent — now awakened by the Word.

A Message to All Believers: Be Honest, Be Biblical

Chairman Lee closed the seminar with a heartfelt message:

“Do not judge by appearance or tradition. Even Jesus was not part of any religious denomination of his time. We must confirm everything by Scripture.”

“Let us fulfill our mission and become one family under God. Now is the time to act, to believe, and to teach according to what has been fulfilled.”

The Beginning of a New Era in Faith

With growing numbers of pastors attending seminars, requesting Bible education, and publicly reconsidering long-held views, 2025 is quickly becoming a year of real transformation in Christianity.

What once was feared is now being confirmed — not by emotion, but by the Word of God.
