“Have You Mastered Revelation?” — Shincheonji’s Question That Challenges the Core of Faith

“Do you master the book of Revelation?”

“Are you a real believer?”

These questions from Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, are sparking deep conversations in the world of Christianity. For many years, the idea of “just believe in Jesus and go to heaven” was widely accepted. But Shincheonji is introducing a new, Bible-based standard:

To enter heaven, a believer must fully understand and keep the fulfilled book of Revelation.

Revelation: Once Avoided, Now Fulfilled

For a long time, traditional churches treated Revelation as a mysterious or symbolic book. Many pastors avoided preaching about it, and few believers studied it deeply. However, Shincheonji boldly teaches that Revelation has already been fulfilled in this generation.

Based on Revelation 22:8, 16, they testify that Chairman Man Hee Lee has seen and heard the fulfillment as a witness chosen by Jesus. Revelation is not a distant future prophecy anymore—it is reality. According to Shincheonji, only those who understand and keep the fulfilled Revelation (Rev 22:18–19) can enter the kingdom of heaven.

God’s promises are not symbolic. He fulfills them at the appointed time.
And when they are fulfilled, God’s people must recognize and believe the physical realities that appear.

A New Standard for True Faith

So then, what makes someone a true believer?
Shincheonji presents a very different path from the “faith alone” idea.

To be saved, a believer must:

  • Be born of God’s seed (Luke 8:11)

  • Be harvested (Matthew 13)

  • Be sealed (Revelation 7)

  • Belong to the promised 12 tribes (Revelation 7 & 14)

  • Master the book of Revelation

This is not just about belief—it’s about knowing, witnessing, and living the fulfillment of God’s word.

Training Believers in the Fulfillment

Shincheonji doesn’t stop at theory. They provide intense and structured education.
Members study the entire book of Revelation, memorize key verses, and even take “Sealing Exams” to confirm their understanding.

The exam questions are based on the four Gospels and the entire book of Revelation. These are not simple memory tests—they are confirmation of real understanding and faith.

Photos of smiling test takers show the joy and confidence that come from truly knowing God’s word.

“Is Your Faith Based on the Bible?”

In the past, the religious world often decided what was “right” or “wrong” based on tradition, denomination, or man-made doctrine. But Shincheonji is bringing everything back to the Bible itself.

Their core question is this:

Are we following God’s word exactly as it is written?

Revelation 22:18–19 gives a serious warning—not to add to or take away from the words of the prophecy.
So then…

  • Have I added or taken away from Revelation?

  • Am I keeping the exact words of the Bible?

  • Is my path of salvation truly based on Scripture?

These are not just theological ideas. These are life-and-death questions for anyone who says they believe in God.

Shincheonji’s message is bold. But it is also simple:

“Believe in what God has fulfilled. See it, hear it, and keep it.”

This is the time for every believer to examine their faith—not by tradition, but by the Word.
