A Message of Fulfillment and Faith: Chairman Man Hee Lee Speaks in Mokpo
On June 18, 2025, more than 10,000 believers and over 100 pastors gathered at Shincheonji Church of Jesus, Peter Tribe’s Mokpo Church for a deeply moving worship service. With just months remaining before the highly anticipated 120,000 Graduation Ceremony, this visit by Chairman Man Hee Lee was a powerful reminder of the fulfillment of Revelation—and a call to restore the true meaning of faith.
Revelation 22: A Tree of Life Bearing Twelve Fruits
In his sermon, Chairman Lee preached from Revelation chapter 22, highlighting the meaning behind the “tree of life bearing twelve fruits every month.” He emphasized that eternal life is promised to those who belong to this tree—the 12 tribes created according to the prophecies of Revelation. “The reason one cannot enter heaven if Revelation is added to or taken away from,” he said, “is because the prophecy must be fulfilled exactly.”
Even at 94 years of age, Chairman Lee’s voice carried strength and clarity, as he explained that the words of Jesus—once hidden in parables—are now being plainly revealed through Shincheonji. “We must know whether we have been created according to the Word,” he said. “Faith begins with knowing who we are in God’s eyes.”
A Challenge to Pastors: Return to the Word
Chairman Lee delivered a strong message to Christian pastors, urging them to ask themselves whether they have truly understood and obeyed Revelation. “Have you not added or taken away from Revelation?” he asked, referencing Revelation 22:18–19. “Only those sealed in the 12 tribes can be saved.”
He explained that just as Jesus was not believed in his time, even today, people refuse to accept the reality of the fulfillment happening now through Shincheonji. “If Shincheonji is not in line with Scripture, then correct it,” he challenged. “But persecuting it without examining the Word is not the way of true believers.”
Drawing from his own travels to biblical sites, Chairman Lee shared how he visited Patmos Island, where Apostle John received Revelation, and other places where early believers were martyred. His call to action was clear: “Know the truth, and lead even one more person to salvation.”
Pastors Moved by the Word
Several pastors in attendance shared their heartfelt impressions. Rev. Choi (71) said that she had visited countless churches and prayer meetings but always felt spiritually empty—until she heard the Word of Shincheonji. “For the first time,” she said, “I felt there is still a chance for salvation. It’s the message I’ve been waiting for.”
Another pastor, Rev. Jung (67), recalled hearing that “Shincheonji knows the Bible well.” He attended the service to see for himself and was struck by the logical, Scripture-based teaching. “They open the Bible and explain verse by verse, like a judge reading the law,” he said.
Rev. Bae (65), who had left ministry due to frustration with contradictory teachings, said he returned after entering an MOU with Mokpo Church. “The difference between Protestantism and Shincheonji is that Shincheonji has the truth,” he declared.
Even Rev. Chae (77), who had experienced many spiritual gifts, said, “Only God can judge what is heresy. I see now that what I believed was lacking compared to what I heard today.”
Believers Strengthened in Faith
Ordinary members also expressed how the experience deepened their faith. Mr. Park (33) said, “Today is the day the promised pastor comes, just as the Bible says. I feel blessed.” Ms. Kim (45) shared how preparing refreshments for the Chairman’s visit filled her with joy and thankfulness.
Another believer, Ms. Lee (43), testified, “Seeing Revelation come to life helped me leave behind a ritualistic faith and embrace true, Word-centered faith. I now see the Bible is alive.”
A Church with Deep Roots in the Community
Shincheonji’s Mokpo Church was founded in October 1994 and now serves a growing community of over 5,400 members across Mokpo, Yeonggwang, Hampyeong, Muan, and Sinan. For 30 years, it has been a pillar of faith and service in the region, offering outreach, worship, and volunteer programs.
The Peter Tribe, with its headquarters in Gwangju, oversees active churches in Mokpo, Yeosu, Suncheon, Songha, Gwangyang, and Haenam. United by the Word, these churches continue to grow in truth, hope, and community connection.
